The Game
The Delaware Valley football team (6-1, 5-1 MAC) will travel to Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to take on the first-place King's College Monarchs (6-1, 6-0 MAC) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. inside McCarthy Stadium.
The Aggies hold a 26-11 advantage over the Monarchs and are currently on a nine-game win streak against them. Last September, the Aggies shut out King's 28-0 in Doylestown. In that game,
Jack Fallon,
Luan Avdijaj, and
Louie Barrios IV each scored rushing touchdowns. In the fourth quarter,
Darius Nichols found the end zone on an 18-yard scoop and score after
Anthony Puntolillo forced a fumble on a sack. The last victory for the Monarchs in this matchup came in 2013, when they won 21-14 in overtime.

Notes/Storylines
- Last week in Doylestown, the Aggies blanked Albright, scoring all 28 points in the first half.
- Barrios connected with Nahsir Morgan on the first offensive play of the game for a 75-yard touchdown. Morgan led the receiving corps with five catches for 127 yards and two scores, making him the MAC leader in receiving touchdowns (10) and second in receiving yards (550).
- Against Albright, Barrios threw for 241 yards (13-24) after missing the previous week due to injury. Nick Arcaroli also contributed, completing two of three attempts. Barrios has now surpassed last season's total of 1,123 passing yards, with 1,138 yards this season.
- Jack Fallon was held scoreless for the first time since Week 1. This season, he has scored seven touchdowns and rushed for 581 yards, ranking third in the conference.
- Jeremiah Clark led the Aggies' defense with seven tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups. Dante Vernieri and Shaun Balkcom each recorded two sacks, and 11 different Aggies logged two or more solo tackles, helping keep the Lions scoreless.
- The DelVal defense ranks 11th in the nation, allowing just 10.4 points per game, while Jacquez Mabin is among the top three in the nation with 9.5 sacks.
- The Aggies' defense will face Brennan Robinson, who leads the Middle Atlantic Conference with 743 rushing yards (8.7 per carry).
- Russell Minor-Shaw quarterbacks the Monarchs and has thrown for 1,253 yards on 98 attempts this season, leading the MAC with 19 touchdown passes.
- Minor-Shaw frequently targets Mike DiGregorio and EJ Schreiner, who have combined for eight touchdowns and 47 receptions.
- Monarch defensive backs Amir Gibson and Zach Barber lead the conference with 19 pass breakups each and have both recorded three interceptions.
