DOYLESTOWN (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley women's lacrosse team honored their three seniors Kiara Haywood-Rivera, Allison Grzembski and Olivia Sherwood before their final home game of the season on Saturday. The Aggies lost to Misericordia 21-3.
The Cougars (8-7, 5-1) raced out to a fast start, scoring 11 goals in the first quarter. Kiara Haywood-Rivera scored for the Aggies (3-11, 1-6) in the first quarter.
Misericordia took a 15-2 lead into the break as Haywood-Rivera added her second goal.
The Cougars won the third quarter, 4-1, to take a 19-3 lead into the fourth. They added two more in the fourth quarter.
Haywood-Rivera scored all three goals for DelVal.
Michelle Torzilli and Genevieve Montayne eached scored four goals for Misericordia. Montayne added three assists and Skylar Dowling scored two goals and had four assists.
The Aggies will wrap up their season Wednesday, April 26th at Stevens with a 4 p.m. start.
