YARDLEY (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley men's golf team competed in the Arcadia Invitational on Thursday morning and were led by Ethan Saxe's four-over 76 and Robby Meredith's five-over 77. The Aggies turned in a team score of 324 to finish in fourth place out of 13 teams.
The tournament took place at Makefield Highlands Golf Club and played at 6,513 yards with a par of 72.
Saxe finished tied for ninth with his 76 with birdies on hole four, six and 12. The junior penciled in nine pars with three on the front nine and six on the back.
Meredith finished tied for 11th place with his 77 and made birdie on holes five and 18 with five pars on the front nine and five on the back.
Jake Kinzer shot 85 to finish tied for 42nd. He made birdie on holes nine and 15 and penciled in five pars.
Ryan Foley finished right behind Kinzer with an 86. Foley made three birdies on the day on holes seven, eight and 16.
Greg Gipe was the fifth and final competitor for the Aggies and made six pars on his way to an 87.
The Aggies will be back in action Monday, April 17th for an 11 a.m. match against PSU-Abington at Five Ponds Golf Club.
