Doylestown, Pa. - The Delaware Valley men's basketball team dropped their second of the season late to Susquehanna University on Tuesday night.
Rasheem Dearry got the first points of the game by dropping in a layup on the first Aggies possession. The Riverhawks went on a 7-0 run, capitalized by a three-pointer from Luke Edwards. Colin MacAdams was fouled and drained both free throws, followed by a Godly Marc layup. His brother Goddy Marc hit a three, five minutes in to retake the lead 9-7. Susquehanna built up another five-point lead going on a 6-1 run. They stretched their advantage to a game-high eight points with 6:37 to go. The Aggies crawled back to within one point thanks to a good jumper by Antonio Redding but trailed going into the break, down 29-25.
Tyriq Toney-Bailey opened the scoring in the second half before the Riverhawks built up another six-point lead. Toney-Bailey dropped two free throws and Dearry drained another three to even the score as the clubs traded baskets with an even score through ten minutes.
