SELINGSGROVE (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley women's soccer team traveled to Susquehanna for their first road game of the season and fell behind early, as they fell to the River Hawks 8-1 for their first loss of the season.
Marley Sprenkel quickly gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in just 2:13. The River Hawks kept up the pressure before leading 4-0 at halftime. They would add four more goals in the second half before Jess Williamson found the back of the net for the Aggies for her second goal of the season with three minutes left.
Sprenkel and Kameron Watkins each scored twice for Susquehanna and four other plays found the back of the net.
Olivia Sherwood made 14 saves in goal for Delaware Valley.
The Aggies will travel to Haverford on Wednesday for a 5:00 start.
