BUCKINGHAM (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University men's golf team completed its second-leg of three-straight days of competition golf as it hosted Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom foe Arcadia University in a dual match at Lookaway Golf Club under perfect conditions on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights finished with a team score of 309 (+21) while the Aggies carded a 336 (+48).
Lookaway Golf Club plays to 6,949 yards with a slope of 145 and a 73.6 rating.
Ethan Saxe carded five-over par, 77, to lead DelVal and finish second overall. Arcadia's Fletcher Bolder shot even-par (72) to lead all scorers.
First-year
Austin Bach bounced-back with a career-best eight-over par, 80, to earn a tied-5th finish.
Robby Meredith matched his score from yesterday with an 84, but finished two strokes better than the day before at 12-over. He finished eighth overall while
Jake Kinzer fired an 86 (+14) to finish 10th.
Mark Gates and Nick Lienhard shot identical 17-over par (89) and
Lucas Baldinger was one-stroke back with a 90.
The Aggies are right back at it tomorrow for their third match in three days against another MAC Freedom rival, DeSales University. The first tee-time is slated for 12:30 p.m. at Brookside Country Club.
