Meredith Fires Career-Low 77 as Men’s Golfs Falls to FDU-Florham

WARMINSTER (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley men's golf team hosted FDU-Florham at Five Ponds Golf Course and Aggie junior Robby Meredith turned in a career-best 77, but the Aggies would lose to the Devils, 330-316.

The teams played from the blue tees in Warminster, as the course played 6,672 yards at a par 71 in cold conditions with light rain.

Meredith's 77 marked a team-best score on the day for the Aggies. Greg Gipe finished with an 81 for DelVal, while Ethan Saxe and Jake Kinzer penciled in 84s. Mark Gates and Nick Whitesel were closed behind with an 85. Lucas Baldinger shot 91, Nick Lienhard finished with 94, Austin Bach shot 95 and Bryce Wyda rounded things out for the Aggies at 102.

The Devils were led by Vinny Dasaro's 75. Chris DeRogatis and Austin Whiteman both shot 80 and Aidan Newman followed them with an 81. Andrew McKernan's 83 and Grant Jenkins's 85 rounded out the scoring for FDU.

The Aggies will wrap up their fall schedule tomorrow at Brookside Country Club for a 12:30 match against DeSales.
