DOYLESTOWN (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team honored their four seniors, Dan Arone, Thomas Fitzsimmons, Aidan Kaltenbaugh and Matt Miller before the team's final regular season game, a 3-0 loss to Misericorida.
The team's played a scoreless first half, with the Aggies (6-9, 1-7) nearly scoring in the 15th minute. Thomas Fitzsimmons played in a a free kick and Denny Henson jumped up for a header, but the ball sailed just high of the goal.
The Cougars (11-3-4, 6-2) started the second half quickly, as Max Gariano knocked home a cross from Anthony Yarabinee just 19 seconds in to give Misericordia a 1-0. Just about six minutes later, Luke Ferrareese took a shot in the box that deflected off an Aggie and into the goal to extend the lead to 2-0. With six minutes left, Justin Kramer put the finishing touches on the game with a goal to make it 3-0.
The Aggies wrap up their season as Misericordia enters the MAC Freedom plays as the #2 seed and will host Lycoming.
