DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The 10th ranked Delaware Valley University football team won its 28th consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) contest as it rolled over visiting Stevenson University, 34-17, behind a career day from quarterback Daquan Bohannan who threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

COIN TOSS

-        Stevenson won the toss and elected to kick. DelVal received the ball going right to left.

WHERE THEY STAND

-        The Aggies improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in MAC games while the Mustangs fell to 0-3 and 0-1.

FIRST QUARTER

-         DelVal went 3-0 on its opening drive but got the ball right back as the defense forced a fumble and Yusuf Aladinov recovered at the Mustang's 24-yard line.

-     Three plays later, Bohannan found Tahmir Barksdale open over the middle and he ran through tacklers for a 17-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead four minutes into the game.

-         Stevenson marched 69 yards down the field on 9 plays and had two to tie the game from the DelVal 1-yard line. On fourth-and-goal senior Anthony Tedesco stood up running back Kevin Joppy to force the turnover on downs.

SECOND QUARTER

-        The offense responded with a 99-yard drive that ate up 7:23 of game clock and culminated in a one-yard touchdown run for first-year Julian White. A failed PAT made it 13-0, Aggies.

-     On the ensuing kickoff, Darian Littlejohn netted 79 yards on the return to set the Mustangs up at the DelVal 10-yard line as Blaine Netterman chased him down to save a touchdown.

-     A penalty on 3rd-and-5 kept the drive alive and Ryan Sedgwick found Steven Smothers for a 2-yard touchdown reception to make it a 13-7 game.

-     On the Aggies next drive, Donte Simmons had consecutive runs of 13 and 11 yards to set up a 6-yard touchdown pass from Bohannan to Morgan in the corner of the end zone. After another failed PAT, DelVal held a 19-7 lead.

-     Halfway through the second quarter, the Mustangs went to the back of the play book as Sedgwick flipped the ball to Joppy and the running back launched a pass to a wide open Littlejohn down the field for a 63-yard touchdown reception to make it a 19-14 game with 6:24 left in the half.

-     A penalty halted the Aggies next drive and Stevenson closed the half with a 31-yard field goal from Brody Campbell to cut the deficit to 19-17 at the half.

THIRD QUARTER

-     With 7:10 left in the third, the Mustang's snapped a ball of the punter's head and he was forced to kick it through the back of the end zone for a safety. DelVal went ahead,               21-17.

-     Stevenson had another bad snap later in the quarter, but the punter got the kick away and it landed in the hands of linebacker Cole Kitchen who returned it 19 yards to the               Mustang's 4-yard line.

-     DelVal needed just two plays before Bohannan punched in his second rushing touchdown of the season to give the Aggies a 28-17 lead going into the fourth.

FOURTH QUARTER

-         DelVal found itself in Mustang territory again, but a fumble by Isaiah Calhoun gave the ball back to the visitors and it was returned near midfield.

-         The Aggie defense had Stevenson to 46 yards and one first down the rest of the way.

-     Calhoun avenged his fumble late in the game as he made another highlight reel catch in the end zone when he went up and over a defender to haul in a 20-yard touchdown reception for the 34-17 final.
