DOYLESTOWN (PA)--- The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team concluded their season with a 1-0 home loss to Arcadia in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play.

Arcadia (10-6, 6-2) put up ten shots in the first half to just one for DelVal. Four of the Knight's shots were on goal and Andrew Roberto came up big for the Aggies making all four saves to send the game into halftime scoreless.

The game remained tied until the 53^rd minute when Arcadia was awarded a free kick and Matt Berndlmaier was able to leap and place a header pass Roberto to give Arcadia a 1-0 lead.

The Aggies (4-12, 0-8) had a great oppourtinty to tie it up in the 58^th minute, when Danny Henson fought off a defender and crossed a ball into the box to Chases Strohecker. Strohecker had an opening in the bottom left corner of the goal, but Aidan McGrath made a kick save from the defensive position to keep DelVal off the board.

The Aggies once again came close to finding the equalizer, as Dan Arone fired a tough, off-balanced shot in the 68^th minute, but Knight's keeper Jake Varrato jumped up to knock the ball away.

The win for Arcadia clinched the number one seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom tournament.
