Nobile becomes the second Aggie to receive back-to-back player of the year honors and the fourth player in the last 15 years to earn MAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades. He joins two-time honoree Kyle Gesswein (linebacker), who won in consecutive years in 2009 and 2010, and linebacker Andrew Erby who was voted the league's best defensive player in 2004.

A returning All-American and preseason All-American, Nobile finished the regular season as the nation's leader in tackles for loss with 26.5, more than five better than the next person, and his 10 sacks ranked inside the top-20. He also led the team this year with 61 tackles, including 35 solo, and two forced fumbles to go with a safety and five quarterback hurries. After week one, he was named the conference's defensive player of the week and was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week.

Joining Nobile in representing the MAC's top-ranked defense on the first team was, Vincent DiLeo, Justin Harris, Kenyonn Jones, Blaine Netterman, and Anthony Tedesco.
DiLeo, one of the team-captains this year, earned his third-straight all-MAC nod and the first first-team accolade of his career. A leader on and off the field, DiLeo finished second on the team with 10 TFL and his eight quarterback hurries were more than any other Aggie. He added 31 tackles, 21 solo, four pass break-ups, and one forced fumble.

For fellow linebacker, junior Anthony Tedesco, it is his second straight nod to the all-MAC first-team. He finished second on the team with 53 tackles including nine tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.

Senior nose guard Kenyonn Jones has been Nobile's running mate on the defensive line all season, and earned his career bid to the all-conference team. His six sacks ranked second on the team as he played in all 10 games and notched 45 tackles and nine TFL. Against nationally-ranked Wesley in week two, Jones was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week for his 11 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 1.5 sacks.

Sophomore safety Blaine Netterman finds himself on the first-team for the second straight year while junior transfer corner back Justin Harris makes his first appearance on the all-MAC team. Harris and Netterman led the team with four interceptions apiece and had 28 and 30 tackles, respectively. Harris added six pass break-ups, one fumble recovery, and two defensive touchdowns while Netterman added two TFL, and one sack to his credit.

The offense was represented by three first-teamers in returning All-American tight end Dan Allen and offensive linemen Michael Cooper and Corey Schriver. For the senior, Cooper, it is his first all-conference nod, while the junior Schriver earned his second-straight first-team honor. They paved the way for an offense that ran for 152.9 yards per game and threw for another 241.9 per showing. DelVal allowed just 17 sacks in 10 games this season.

Allen is a first-team all-conference honoree for the second straight year, and he was named to the all-MAC second team after his sophomore campaign. The tight end's 31 receptions and six receiving touchdowns led the team and his 510 receiving yards was second. In the team's win over Lycoming, Allen notched his first career rushing score.

Rounding out the DelVal first-teamers was freshman return specialist Tahmir Barksdale. Barksdale led the league by a wide margin with 24 punt returns for 395 yards, an average of 16.5 per return, and three touchdowns. Among all players in the country, he is tied for the most punt return touchdowns, second in punt return yards and seventh in average.

Sophomore defensive end Anthony Nobile earned his second consecutive nod to the all-MAC second team, despite leaving the Stevenson game early with an injury and only returning to play the final three conference games with the team. He still managed to rack up 16 tackles, nine solo, two tackles for loss, one sack, two pass break-ups, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

For second teamers, Jeremy Adams, Bobby Miller, Nate Pauls, Jamir Prevard, and Donte Simmons it is their first time on the all-conference team.
Adams, a senior offensive lineman was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll last season and played in every game this year as a key-cog on one of the league's top-ranked offenses. He was part of the line that aided junior Donte Simmons to his first career all-conference season. Simmons led the ground attack with 87 carries, 450 yards, and four touchdowns while contributing 14 receptions for 72 yards and another score.

Senior fullback Nate Pauls transferred in this season and played all 10 games. He served as a key figure in the run and pass blocking, but also caught nine balls for 100 yards and three touchdowns, including a 50-yard catch-and-run score in the season-opener at Kean.

Prevard, a sophomore defensive back, was third on the team with three interceptions and led the squad with his seven pass break-ups. He added 23 tackles, including 21 solo, and two tackles for loss. Prevard also handled a majority of the kickoff duties and took 12 kicks for 333 yards, including one that went for a 98-yard touchdown.

Junior punter Bobby Miller was second in the league with 39.5 yards per boot, just a half yard off the leader. He had nine punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line and four kicks of over 50 yards including a long of 63 yards.

Rounding out the all-conference student-athletes was junior safety Dontae Mason. It is the first postseason accolade for Mason as he finished with 35 tackles, 25 solo, two pass break-ups, one forced fumble, one interception, and one TFL.

Sixth year head coach Duke Greco earned his second Coach of the Year accolade as his team finished the regular season 9-1 with a perfect 8-0 mark in MAC games. That upped the squads league unbeaten streak to 28 in a row, dating back to the 2016 season, and earned the Aggies their third straight outright MAC Championship and NCAA Playoff berth.

DelVal begins NCAA championship play on Saturday, November 23 at 12 p.m. as it heads to Bridgewater College (Va.) for the first round game. It is the team's 16th postseason berth in the last 17 years, including nine NCAA appearances. It will be the first road NCAA playoff game for the Aggies since 2010.
