DALLAS (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team wrapped up the 2017 season with a 5-1, Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom loss at Misericordia University on Saturday night.
The Aggies, under first-year head coach, compiled a 6-11 overall record and an 0-7 mark in league play. The Cougars finished their year at 3-14-1 and 3-3-1.
Misericordia scored four times in the opening half to take command. Michael Ciardullo and Niko Amity scored 23 seconds apart. Cairdullo added his second tally with 22:14 remaining in the stanza while Evan Brown followed eight minutes later.
DelVal got on the board with 25:49 remaining in the contest as junior
Sam Dibella took a feed from Billy Frazier, Jr. and connected on his first goal as an Aggie. DiBella led the team with five assists and finished third in scoring with seven points.
The Cougars' Curtis Brewer completed the scoring with 18:40 to go. They held a 25-9 advantage in shots and had all 10 corner kicks in the contest.
Connor Hedgepeth recorded seven saves in the loss for DelVal. Seniors

Austin Wilson wrapped up their collegiate careers in the game.
