ST. DAVIDS (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball wrapped up the 2017 campaign with a 3-0 loss at nine-time defending Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom champion Eastern University. Set scores were 25-9, 25-9 and 25-16.

Janel Gluch finished with a 3-13 overall record and an 0-7 mark in league competition. Meanwhile, the Eagles improved to 18-9 and 6-1 and will enter next week's conference tournament as the number two seed.
DelVal notched seven of its 17 kills in the final set and had a 5-0 run at one point for a 6-4 advantage. It was still 8-8 in the third when Eastern took command with 11 of the next 16 points.
Kayla Bracken had four kills to pace the Aggies. Senior
Taylor Klecan had three kills and no errors in nine attacks in her final collegiate match. Fellow senior
Katerina Ramos saw time in one set. Danielle McKlevey handed out 13 assists.
Ally Spillane led the Eagles with 13 kills while Morgan Kline had 39 assists.
