Aggies Fall To Devils In Madison, NJ

MADISON (NJ) – Erica Martins scored three-second half goals to lead FDU-Florham over visiting Delaware Valley University, 4-0, in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom bout on Tuesday night.
 
The Aggies fell to 2-10-1 overall and 0-3 in conference games while the Devils improved to 5-5-3 and 2-2.
 
DelVal fell behind less than 15 minutes into the first half when Tatiana Nieto took a pass from Amada Croce beat a defender and the keeper, and made it 1-0.
 
Martins' three tallies all came in the second half and were unassisted. Martin led FDU-Florham with six of the teams 20 shots on goal.
 
The Aggies had three shots on goal for the game, one apiece for Taylor Boyer, Samantha Greim and Calla Gibson. Haley Young played 71:48 in goal and made nine saves while Madelyne Medina absorbed six shots in relief.
 
DelVal will next host King's College for its homecoming weekend on Friday, October 13 at 7 p.m.
