AGGIE MEN'S HOOPSTERS FALL 81-71 AT ARCADIA

Box Score GLENSIDE (PA) – Joseph Brown and Khalief Trawick combined for 46 points, 24 rebounds and five assists to lead Arcadia University to an 81-71, non-conference victory over visiting Delaware Valley College.

Brown and Trawick shot a combined 18-for-26 (69.2%) from the field as the Knights shot 57.4 percent for the game, including 66.7 percent in the second half. Brown finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds while Trawick had 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Arcadia (10-5) led for all but the opening two and a half minutes of the contest. The squad was up by as many as 10 in the first half before the Aggies (8-7) cut it down to six, 37-31, at the break.

In the second stanza, Delaware Valley made it a two-point game, 48-46, as Jeremy Beckett's jumper in the pain culminated a 6-0 run. However, the Knights responded with nine straight points for their largest lead of the game at 11 with 11 minutes remaining. The Aggies were still down nine when they made a late run and a Nick Sullivan bomb with3:37 remaining pulled them to within three at 69-66. Arcadia scored eight of the next nine to seal its victory.

In addition to Brown and Trawick, Aaron Lee-Webb had a big evening for the Knight as he finished with 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Jose Figueroa added eight points and five boards.

Beckett led Delaware Valley as the senior and two-time all-Freedom Conference honoree notched 24 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and three steals. Francis Arnold added 11 points while Sullivan came off the bench to net 10 points.
