Roth is in histhird year of his second stint with Delaware Valley. It will be his 10th year overall with his alma mater following a record-setting, three-year career that saw him earn a spot in the Aggie Hall of Fame (2014 inductee).
After transferring in from Penn State-Abington in 2002, Roth became the school’s all-time leader in batting (.445), RBIs (124 - since broken) and doubles (50). He also holds the single-season record for batting average (.505 in 2003) and doubles (21 in 2002).
Roth was a three-time, all-Freedom Conference and all-ECAC selection. He was named the conference’s Most Valuable Player and was later named a second team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Roth helped the Aggies reach the postseason in each of his three seasons. The 2002 squad reached the Freedom Conference Championship Game while the 2004 edition captured the ECAC Southern Region crown.
