Pitts capped his standout career by earning his second straight All-America honor at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He broke his own school record in the 100-meter dash in both the preliminaries and the finals and his time of 10.52 seconds in the finals was good enough for fourth place at the championship.
