David Duda

Dave Duda serves as the Executive Director of Athletics at Delaware Valley University, a role he stepped into in Fall 2025 after previously serving as the institution’s Director of Athletics beginning in 2019. With more than 20 years of experience in collegiate coaching, leadership, and athletics administration, Duda has built a reputation as a dynamic program builder with a strong commitment to student development and competitive excellence.

Before returning to DelVal, Duda spent 13 seasons at Division I Saint Joseph’s University as the lead assistant men’s basketball coach and recruiting coordinator for legendary head coach Phil Martelli. During that time, the Hawks captured Atlantic 10 Championships in 2014 and 2016 and made three NCAA tournament appearances. His recruiting efforts produced 12 all-conference players, including future NBA athletes Langston Galloway and Deandre Bembry.

Duda’s administrative and coaching foundation was built at Widener University, where he served eight years as Director of Athletics and head men's basketball coach. He oversaw 20 varsity sports and more than 80 staff members while contributing to major facility upgrades, including wellness centers, turf fields, locker rooms, and a baseball stadium complex. His teams earned national top-10 rankings and reached the NCAA tournament in 2000, 2001, and 2006.

His appointment to DelVal marked a homecoming, having launched his collegiate coaching career there from 1996–1998 as head men’s basketball coach. He transformed a winless program into a competitive one within two years, earning conference Coach of the Year honors and leading the Aggies to their first non-losing season in 15 years.

Duda’s extensive experience, team-building mindset, and strong commitment to student success continue to move Aggie athletics forward.
