Lauren Stackhouse (formerly Snyder) ’02 enters her third season as the head coach of Delaware Valley women’s basketball in 2026-27.
Stackhouse guided the Aggies to significant progress during the 2025-26 season, more than doubling their win total from the previous year. Delaware Valley finished 10-15 overall and 5-9 in MAC Freedom play, highlighted by the emergence of Whitney Evans. Evans led the Aggies with 429 points and earned MAC Freedom First Team All-Conference honors while being named the conference’s Rookie of the Year. She became the second player to earn All-Conference recognition under Stackhouse.
In 2024-25, Stackhouse helped graduate student Haley Keenan cement her place in the Delaware Valley record books. Keenan recorded 95 steals, the third-most in a single season in program history, and finished her career as the Aggies’ all-time leader with 363, surpassing Stackhouse’s previous career mark. Keenan’s performance earned her MAC Freedom Second Team All-Conference honors. The Aggies finished the season 3-22 overall and 1-13 in conference play.
Stackhouse, a native of King of Prussia, Pa., began her basketball career at Upper Merion High School before making a significant impact at Delaware Valley University, where she was a four-year starter. Standing at 5'6", she defied expectations by setting the school's rebounding record with 951 rebounds and scoring 1,185 points. Her performance earned her two First Team All-Conference selections and the distinction of Academic All-American in her senior year. In October 2015, she was honored with induction into the Delaware Valley University Hall of Fame.
In addition to her college career, Stackhouse co-founded the Delco Goats AAU basketball team and was named Zero Gravity Mid-Atlantic AAU Female Coach of the Year in 2023. Her coaching resume includes her most recent role as Head Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach at West Chester Rustin High School, where she led the team to an overall record of 93-32. Her outstanding leadership earned her All-Area Coach of the Year and PA State Coach of the Year honors in 2023. Stackhouse also served as a Mathematics Teacher for 7th grade at Avon Grove Middle School beginning in January 2004, showcasing her dedication to education and student development.
Stackhouse holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from Delaware Valley University, earned in May 2002, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University, completed in December 2004.
