Kaitlyn Cooper

Cooper took over the Delaware Valley University softball program midway through the 2018 season. Shortly after the campaign, the "interim" tag was removed from her title.

During the 2018 season, Cooper saw one of her players - Jamie Stefani - become the first All-American in program history as she placed in the top five nationally in two offensive categories. Stefani was also an Academic All-District selection.

Cooper has been an assistant coach in travel softball since 2016 and has done personal training in the sport for eight years.

Cooper was a two-sport standout at fellow Division III school Cabrini University. On the diamond, she was a four-year starter and earned All-Colonial State Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors each season, including a first-team nod in 2014. In 2015, she also earned a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s (NFCA) all-East Region third team. For her career, Cooper batted .370 with 187 hits, 124 RBIs, 44 doubles, 17 home runs, 10 triples and 25 stolen bases while boasting a .933 career fielding average.

In soccer, Cooper was a three-time, all-CSAC honoree before garnering Player of the Year accolades in 2015. One year earlier, she was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) all-Mid-Atlantic Region third team.

Cooper graduated from Cabrini in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She has been an Exercise Physiologist in cardiovascular rehabilitation at Jefferson Health since October, 2017.
