Kieschnick joined the faculty at Delaware Valley University in 2001. Before coming to DelVal, she trained and managed at a top hunter jumper facility in East Tennessee. She also coached and rode at many recognized competitions in the southeast. After moving to the Delaware Valley, she also worked as a professional groom for a top hunter breeding facility.
Kieschnick is the Chair of the Department of Equine Science & Management, an associate professor, and has been the advisor and head coach to the DelVal hunt seat IHSA team since 2002. Her 2003-2004 hunt seat team finished 1st in the region for the first time since 1994, and Kieschnick has been repeatedly named IHSA Zone 3, Region 2 Hunt Seat Coach of the year. Her 2014 team earned fourth place at the IHSA National Championships in Harrisburg.
In 2018, Kieschnick led DelVal to a regional championship. She also saw an Aggie crowned as a national champion as senior Emily Wilmot took home top honors in the Intermediate Equitation on the Flat. An alumnus, Chelsea Koerper also claimed a national crown in the Alumni Equitation Over Fences division.
