Notes: Ranked number one in the 149-pound weight class in the 2014-15 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III preseason rankings...Will serve as a team captain this season…Transferred from Division I Rider University where he won 23 matches over two years…His brother Dale was a two-time national qualifier for the Aggies and is now an assistant coach at the school.

2013-14: Finished 30-5 with seven pins at 149 pounds…Led the squad in winning percentage (.857) and tied for team-high honors in pins (7) in pins…Earned All-America honors with a third place finish at the NCAA Championships…Was awarded the seventh seed and reached the quarterfinals before falling into consolation bracket…Picked up wins over the number four, six and eight seeds to reach the consolation finals…Defeated third-seeded Mark Hartenstine of Wilkes, 3-1, for the third-place finish…Fava and Hartenstine had met two weeks earlier at the NCAA East Regional semifinals…Fava dropped a 3-2, overtime decision, but bounced back with two wins for a third-place berth and a national tournament berth…Took second place at the MAC Championships…Won the first 14 matches of his Aggie career, including first-place showings at the East Stroudsburg Open and the New Standard Invitational at York…Four of his five wins at the East Stroudsburg Open were against Division I wrestlers.
