Alexis Wright both netting double-digit scoring and rebounding in the loss to DeSales to end the season, 71-48.
Keenan kicked things off strong for her last game as an Aggie converting the layup for the first score of the game. The Bulldogs responded from deep, but
Jayla Rivera was ready with a quick three-pointer in return to keep DelVal in the lead, 5-3. A short 4-0 spurt from DeSales was met with another long ball this time from
Aubrey Ennis to put the Aggies up by one, 8-7. The lead changed hands twice before the Bulldogs used a 7-2 run to end the frame with a four-point edge, 16-12.
DeSales broke open the scoring in the second quarter putting up 23 points on 57.1% shooting while holding DelVal to just nine on 18.8% shooting. Ennis opened the frame with another three-pointer. Keenan contributed four points for the Aggies while
Alexis Wright shot 100% from the charity stripe to add another two.
Up by 18 to start the second half, DeSales converted a three-pointer out of the break to extend the advantage to 21, 42-21. Wright stepped up to the free throw line nearly a minute later shooting 1-of-2 to begin chipping away at the lead. DelVal added another 13 points in the frame thanks to the scoring efforts of Keenan, Wright and
Ciana Feliciano. The Aggies kept the Bulldogs to just 12 more points to keep the deficit just under 20, 54-35, heading into the final quarter.
The Bulldogs led the Aggies 17-13 in the final frame. Ennis led the charge for DelVal in the last 10 minutes putting up six points while Keenan followed closely behind with five. But it was too little too late for the Aggies who walked away with the 71-48 loss to end the season.
Keenan led the Aggies in scoring and rebounds putting up 19 points and pulling down 16 boards. Wright also ended the night with a double-double recording 11 points and 11 rebounds. Ennis recorded her fourth double-digit scoring game of the season with 12 points.
The game concludes the 2024-25 season for the Aggies finishing with a 3-22 overall record and a 1-13 mark in conference play.
