SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Delaware Valley women's wrestling team saw some great performances against a nationally ranked Western New England squad, but ultimately fell short dropping the match 35-12.
Jesenia Camargo,
Lilly Kinder and
Sophia Pollack all came out victorious in their respective weight classes with Camargo recording victory by decision, Kinder by fall and Pollack by tech fall.
"We competed very hard and did a lot of good things coming off of break," said head coach
Andrew Taylor. "We look forward to building off of it. Western New England is a very tough team, ranked 17
th in the country, and we went toe-to-toe with them at multiple weights."
