O'Toole Earns MAC Championship Title at 141lb

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Sean O'Toole claimed the title of 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference Champion at the conference championship held at King's College on Saturday.

O'Toole, competing in the 141lb class, was joined by Ryan Arndt, who finished in 3rd place overall. In the 125lb class, Malik Asfour was the runner-up, narrowly losing in overtime to Alvernia's No. 11 Keito Shaw.

As a team, the Aggies secured 4th place with a total of 64 points. Alvernia took home the team championship, scoring 159 points and producing five individual champions.

"Without four big pieces in the lineup, I though our guys that competed did very well carrying the workload. It was fun to see the emergence of Sean O'Toole as a conference champ and another massive accomplishment to Ryan Arndt for earning this 100th (career) win this weekend. Ryan has been a testament to true grit and commitment to the process. Now that winter break is over, we look forward to getting healthy and preparing for post season" – said head coach Andrew Taylor.

The Aggies next take the mat on Friday, Jan. 24, hosting Misericordia at 7:00 p.m. inside Jame Work Gymnasium.
