Early Lead Slips Away for Men's Wrestling in Loss to No. 21 Stevens

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - An early 16-point lead slipped away for the Delaware Valley men's wrestling team, falling 30-21 on No. 21 Stevens IT on Friday evening. 

Malik Asfour, Jacob Blair, and Ryan Arndt built the advantage before dropping the next six matchups. Logan Flynn ended the first home match of 2024-25 on a high, defeating Maximo Ruiz by tech fall. 

"Hats off to Stevens. They were well-coached and competed hard. They weathered the storm we brought in the first three matches. There are no moral victories tonight, we're going to clean a lot of things up and we are grateful to have another opportunity to compete tomorrow." - said Coach Taylor
