SCRANTON, Pa. - The Delaware Valley Hunt Seat Equestrian team secured second place at Saturday's show hosted by the University of Scranton, finishing just two points behind Bloomsburg. Junior

Elsa Heacock led the team's efforts with wins in their respective classes.
The day started strong for the Aggies, with Senior Evan Holt finishing second in Open Fences and Senior Captain Brooke Wolfinger also earning second place in Intermediate Fences. Holt then competed in a large Open Flat class alongside fellow senior Pauline Jodry. Senior Captain Tori Coale followed up with a fourth-place finish in Intermediate Flat, building momentum for the team.
In Limit Fences, Allen not only took the win but also qualified for Regionals. Junior Kailei Makhija contributed a solid third-place finish in Limit. The Limit Flat class saw DelVal earning two-fourths from Senior Julianne Jodry and Freshman Maggie Mitchell, along with a fifth-place finish from Sophomore Sophia Frisbie. In the Novice division, Junior Sofia Walsh and Heacock competed, with Heacock taking the win. The day concluded with Sophomore Kellyn Meadows finishing sixth in Intro.
The Aggies bounce back from fall break as they prepare to compete at Lafayette on October 20th.
