WILKES-BARRE (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley softball team battled back from a 2-0 deficit and put the tying run 60 feet away in the seventh inning, but were unable to complete the comeback, as the Aggies lost game one at Wilkes 2-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom action. The Aggies then fell to the Colonels 12-0 in five innings in game two.
GAME ONE
Wilkes (9-4, 1-2)Â quickly got on the scoreboard just two batters into the game after a leadoff walk and a stolen base by Hana Cross led to an RBI double by Hannah Boyd, giving the Colonels a 1-0 lead after one inning.
