SCRANTON (Pa.)--- With two bouts left, the Delaware Valley men's wrestling team trailed 16-15 before Isaiah Johnson picked up a 14-1 major decision at 197 pounds and Austin Williams earned a 15-0 tech fall victory at heavyweight to propel the Aggies to a 24-16 win over Scranton.

The Aggies quickly fell behind 6-0 before Ryan Arndt earned a decisive 17-0 tech fall over Michael Garcia to bring the score to 6-5. A major decision for the Royals extended the lead to 10-5 after three bouts.

Andre Henene started off a run of three consecutive wins for DelVal with an 8-5 decision at 149 pounds. Greg Croce followed suit at 157 pounds with a narrow 3-2 victory and Joey McCullough took care of business at 165 pounds with a 9-1 major decision giving the Aggies a 15-10 advantage with four bouts remaining.

The Royals responded with decisions at 174 and 184 pounds to jump back in front 16-15 with two bouts left.

Isaiah Johnson took the mat at 197 pounds and cruised to a 14-1 major decision, giving the Aggies the lead back at 19-16. Austin Williams capped off the night with a dominant 15-0 tech fall, securing the 24-16 win for DelVal.
