HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – A slow first quarter for the Delaware Valley women's basketball team put them in an early deficit over Centenary that they would fail to overcome dropping the contest 69-52 and ending the team's six-game win streak.
Centenary started the game quick converting from beyond the arc for the early lead. The Aggies only fell behind by three before
Haley Keenan matched the three-point shot to tie the score, 5-5, and start a short 5-0 run to put DelVal in the lead, 7-5, with 6:52 to play. The Cyclones pulled ahead by five over the next two minutes with
Aubrey Ennis sinking the three to bring the deficit back down to two, 12-10. Centenary held the 11-1 edge through the rest of the frame to take a 12-point lead into the second quarter, 23-11.
Keenan started things off for the Aggies in the second quarter converting the long ball to bring the deficit down to nine, 23-14. An 8-2 run from DelVal followed capped off with an
