MACUNGIE (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University men's golf team played its first dual of the season at Brookside Country Club against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) rival DeSales University, but fell to the Bulldogs, 319-345.

The course played to a par-71 at 6,534 yards with a 133 rating and a slope of 72.2. 

First-year Robert Meredith led the Aggies with a eight-over par, 79 to finish second behind DeSales' Austin Boyer who carded a 76 (+5).

Ryan Foley and Ryan Obes finished tied for seventh place, each shooting 16-over, 87. Jake Kinzer carded a 92 and Riley Guinan followed with a 98. 

DelVal will get a look at the site of the 2021 MAC Championship course when it plays Golden Oaks Country Club as part of the Aracadia Invitational this Saturday.
