GETTYSBURG(Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University men's wrestling team faced a tall task with a depleted lineup as it faced Gettysburg College and Johns Hopkins University at the Gettysburg tri-match and the Aggies came home with two losses. 

DelVal lost its first match to the Blue Jays, 40-18, and then fell to the Bullets, 36-17. The Aggies dropped to 4-8 overall in dual matches. 

DelVal senior Kordell Rush came into today ranked third in the country at 133 pounds and cruised to a 2-0 afternoon. In his first match against Kareem Chambers of Johns Hopkins, he needed just 46 seconds to earn his eighth pin of the season. He improved his perfect season mark to 21-0 with a 20-0 tech. fall over Cooper Leszczuk of Gettysburg in a match that lasted just 3:19. 

Freshman Evan Widing continued his stellar rookie campaign at 149 pounds with a pair of wins to improve to 18-9 on the year. He earned a first period pin over the Blue Jays' Justin Valdoria and then earned an 11-6 decision over Eric Mougalian. 

Senior NIck Bord also had a 2-0 day as he earned a forfeit in the first match and then defeated Jon Stix of Gettysburg, 8-2, to improve his season mark to 9-5. 

Rookie Austin Williams ended the day with a 1-1 mark at 184 pounds as he suffered a first period fall to Nathan Wertheimer, but bounced back with a first period fall of his own over Brendan Loder from the Bullets wrestling team. 

Freshman Jake Nase was the final Aggie to compete during the tri-match and he suffered a pair of losses at 174 pounds. In his first match he dropped a, 13-4, major decision, and then was pinned in the first period by Mason Canonico of Gettysburg.
