DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University wrestling team suffered its second defeat in two nights after forfeiting four matches to visiting College of New Jersey on Friday night and ultimately falling, 47-8.

Before the match, the Aggies celebrated their three seniors, David Furmato, Steve Horvath, and team captain Anthony Snyder, with an honorary senior night ceremony.

At 141 pounds, Rob Duxbury got on the board first with a takedown and maintained a 3-2 advantage after two periods. He held off the Lions' Anthony Rua throughout the third period and earned a 4-2 decision with riding time.

In the heavyweight bout, Oscar Daniels overcame Steven Giannios with a 15-4 major decision. Daniels scored six points in the first two periods and took Giannios to his back early in the third to earn a takedown and four back points. A couple more takedowns and stalls against the Lions, and Daniels walked away with the 16-5 major decision and five points to conclude the night for DelVal.
