ALLENTOWN (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University wrestling team went 3-1 at the Scotty Wood Duals hosted by Muhlenberg College on Saturday with ins over Temple, 34-9, Camden County, 36-22, and Kent State Tuscarawas, 42-12. The Aggies fell to the host Mules in the first match of the day, 38-12. 

DelVal (3-3) dropped all the contested bouts against Muhlenberg (5-1), but bounced back the Owls with pins from Alec Myers at 165 pounds and Justin Acevedo at 285 pounds. Austin Williams earned a 21-8 major decision at 197 pounds. 

Against Camden, Myers got his second pin of the as he needed just 37 seconds to do so. John Richter earned a late first period pin at 125 pounds and Kyle Hillermeier and Nickolas Bord also earned early wins by fall. 

In the final match of the day, Kordell Rush maintained his perfect record with a first period pin of Elliott Dean from Kent State Tuscarawas. Myers followed with his third pin of the day to finish 3-1 and Anthony Aquilano earned a fall at 184 pounds.
