ROSEMONT (PA) – Delaware Valley University posted its second straight win – both by shutout - as the Aggies had a 5-0 win at Rosemont College on Monday. Only five of the nine matches finished before sundown.
The Aggies improved to 3-7 while the Ravens dropped to 1-4.
Two matches finished in singles' play. At the top spot, it was
Natalie Hoffman with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Julianna Capece.
Chloe Dennerlein then blanked Dillon Leonard, 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, Hoffman and Dennerlein teamed up for an 8-2 triumph over Capece and Chase Leonard.
Erin Volov and
Melanie Mayhew took down Dillon Leonard and Nya Solomon McCloud, 8-1, while
Allie Vaccaro and
Laken Henry shutout Erin Gallashaw and Anya Brooks, 8-0.
DelVal will look to make it three straight when it hosts Lancaster Bible College on Tuesday, March 27.
