WRESTLING: Delaware Valley University 30, Centenary College 15Â
DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University wrestling team celebrated Senior Night with a 30-15, home triumph over Centenary College on Thursday evening.

The Aggies improved to 5-5 on the season and they will conclude their dual meet campaign tomorrow night at 10
th-ranked The College of New Jersey. Centenary's record fell to 7-13.

DelVal honored its four seniors –
Nick Della Fera,
Conor Kirkegard,
Steve Orlic and
Anthony Terlizzi – prior to the match. Two of them hits the mats and were victorious in their final home matches.

Kirkegard, ranked as high as eighth in national polls, upped his record to 19-6 on the year as the 133-pounder pinned Christian Sable with 53 seconds left in the first period (2:07). It was also his 75
th career victory.

Della Fera (15-10) picked up his 42
nd career victory as he was dominant in his 184-pound match. He used four takedowns, an escape and riding time for a 10-2 major decision over Joe Ragsdale. Â

Brenden Velez started the evening with a 16-0, technical fall triumph over Joe Zargo at 125 pounds. He had three near falls in the contest and the win was his 18
th of the season (18-10).
Following Kirkegard's fall,
Tim Ambacher moved his mark to 12-3 as an early takedown and near fall led to a 6-1 decision over Jeff Rottingen at 141 pounds. That gave DelVal a 14-0 lead.

The Cyclones picked up wins in the next two weights to cut their deficit to 14-6. At 149, riding time was the difference as Christopher Muce edged
Nick Menkin, 8-7. Max Nauta followed with a 5-2 decision over
Sekou Harris at 157 pounds.

Ben Schweiger got those six points back for the Aggies at 165 as he needed just 92 seconds to drop Amnthony Kubish. The win evened Schweiger's season record at 9-9.

Centenary took two of the next three bouts with Della Fera's win for DelVal sandwiched in-between. Josh Sibblies racked up an 18-1, technical fall triumph at 174 while Etiini Udott added a 16-5 major decision over
Josh Richardson at 197 pounds.

Zach Roseberry was awarded a forfeit victory at heavyweight to wrap the match. It was Roseberry's 20
th win of the season (20-1)
