The wrestling team was involved in a close contest with SUNY Oneonta. The Aggies won the first three bouts to take a 12-0 lead but the Red Dragons bounced back to tie the match with three straight wins. DelVal took the next two by decision but Price suffered a medical forfeit and the match was tied entering the final bout. Roseberry, a two-time All-American, earned a 10-2 major decision to give the Aggies the victory.
DelVal had a strong showing against Rhode Island College, winning seven of the 10 bouts. The Aggies recorded two pins, one major decision, two decisions, one forfeit and one disqualification victory. With the injury to Price, DelVal had to shuffle its lineup and Della Fera came up with his second win at 184, this time by pin, while Richardson moved up to 197 and won by disqualification.
The Aggies next compete at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Lycoming College on Saturday, January 23 (9:00 a.m.).
