ITHACA (NY) – The Delaware Valley University wrestling team suffered a 43-4 defeat at ninth-ranked Ithaca College on Saturday.

The Aggies dropped to 3-5 in dual meets this season while the Bombers improved to 11-4.

DelVal's points came from a 12-2 major decision victory by junior heavyweight Zach Roseberry. The two-time All-American upped his season record to 18-1 and is ranked second in his weight class.

At 141, sophomore Tim Ambacher conceded a 7-3 decision. Junior Sekou Harris was on the short end of a 6-0 defeat at 157. Seniors Conor Kirkegard (133) and Nick Della Fera (184) both had 9-1 losses. Kirkegard, ranked eighth in his weight class, was defeated by #7 Bryan Israel. Della Fera's bout was against ninth-ranked Carlos Toribio.

Sophomore Brenden Velez had a challenging opponent in seventh-ranked Jimmy Kaishian and suffered a 24-7 setback at 125. Sophomore Nick Menkin (149) and freshmen Anthony Snyder (165) and Josh Richardson (197) all fell by pinfall. Menkin faced #10 Dan Pak while Snyder grappled #7 Nick Velez.

The Aggies host Temple University on Saturday, February 6 (12:00 p.m.).
