DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College won six of 10 weight classes, including four by major decision, as the eighth-ranked Aggies notched a 22-13 triumph over No. 16 The College of New Jersey in the final dual meet of the season.

Kyle Tufts before the match, finished the year with a 9-3 record in head-to-head match-ups. The Lions saw their record fall to 11-7.
Frankel opened his final home collegiate match by getting a takedown just five seconds in and cruised to a 9-4 decision over Jimmy Gill (5-10) at 125 pounds. For Frankel, the returning All-American improved to 13-6 on the year while the win was the 80th of his stellar career.
The Lions got the three points back at 133 as returning All-American Dan Herr (9-3) posted a 3-0 decision over
Pat Davis (11-13).
The 141-pound match between Fava (4-4) and TCNJ's Dylan Thorsen (9-1) had numerous swings. Fava nearly had the pin a minute into the match and led 5-1 after one period. An early escape and then a late takedown by Thorsen brought him to within one at 5-4 after two. Fava picked up an escape in the third, but Thorsen registered a takedown with three seconds left to send the match to overtime. Eleven seconds into the extra session, it was Fava with the takedown, the win and a 6-3 Delaware Valley advantage.
The Aggies increased their lead to 10-3 thanks Ajagbe. The third-ranked Ajagbe notched a pair of three-point near falls, a takedown, an escape and riding time for a 10-0 major decision over PJ Schmidt (15-11) at 149. It was Ajagbe's 27th win in 29 matches this year, and he also moved into sole possession of 14th place on the school' all-time list with 90 victories.
James Dugan made it three in a row for Delaware Valley as he built a 5-0 lead after one, a 7-2 advantage after two and got a key takedown with a minute to go in the third. Riding time was on Dugan's side for a 10-2 major decision over Antonio Mancella (13-12) at 157 to up his record to 21-15 and the team's lead to 14-3.
The Lions' John Darling (28-3), a returning All-American who is ranked fourth in Division III at 165 pounds, led 7-0, had riding time and appeared on to be on his way to a four-point major decision over
Nick Della Fera (19-16). However, Della Fera escaped with three seconds left and Darling finished with an 8-1 decision and a 14-6 team score.
TCNJ picked up two more wins in the two weights to make it a one-point match at 14-13. At 174, KC Murphy (10-12) had a third-period escape and a full second period of riding time for a 2-1 decision over
Dallas Winston (17-11). Third-ranked Brian Broderick then had three takedowns, en route to a 10-0 major decision over
Connor Gabriel (12-10) at 184 pounds.
Delaware Valley's
Aaron Karns was dominant at 197 as he notched three takedowns, a two-point near fall, an escape and riding time for a 10-0 major decision over Nathaniel Leer (7-7). For Karns, ranked third in Division III, the victory improved his season record to 25-3. It also upped the Aggies' lead to 18-13 heading into the final weight class.
Mike Boardman (14-10) then sealed the win for Delaware Valley as a late takedown and near-fall in the first gave the heavyweight a 4-0 lead and he went onto a 12-1 major decision over Jeff Furbish (6-12).
