DALLAS (PA) – Christine Marks had 29 points and 12 rebounds while Tyann McDaniel added 22 points as Misericordia University posted an 86-57 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.
The Cougars upped their record to 8-7 overall and 5-1 in the conference, while the Aggies had their two-game winning streak snapped as they fell to 11-6 and 2-4.
Marks and McDaniel combined for 27 points in the opening half as Misericordia raced out to a 41-13 advantage. The team hit 15 of 28 shots from the field (53.6%), including a 6-for-11 (54.5%) effort from 3-point land in the opening 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the Misericodia defense held Delaware Valley, which was without point guard and second-leading scorer
Brittany Battinieri, to just four field goals in 25 attempts (16.%). They were 0-for-10 from beyond the arc.
Misercordia continued to shoot well in the second half and it finished the game right at the 50 percent mark from the field. Delaware Valley found its touch as it hit 16 of 31 shots (51.6%) in the half, but it never got closer than 18 points.

Brenna Coll paced the Aggies with 12 and 11 points respectively. Mirack also added a team-best eight rebounds. Leading scorer and rebounder
Emily Soper managed just five points and three rebounds in just 21 minutes of action before fouling out.
