HACKETTSTOWN (NJ) –
Charlie Frankel and
Zak Andrews took home individual titles at their respective weight classes while eight other Delaware Valley College wrestlers placed in the top four as the Aggies competed at the Bob Quade Cyclone Open at Centenary College.
Frankel went a perfect 3-0 to capture the 125-pound crown. He opened by pinning John Pelligrino (unattached) with 28 seconds remaining in the match (6:32) and followed with a 37-second fall over Andrew Tomasino (Middlesex). He met Hugh Nawn (Gloucester) in the finals and posted a 6-4 victory.
Andrews, a returning All-American who is ranked second in Division III at 149 pounds, was the top seed in his bracket and won all three of his matches. He pinned Ethan Knapp (Gloucester) in 3:47 and then notched a 7-2 decision over Kellen Bradley (unattached). Andrew then completed the tournament with a 12-3 major decision over Mac Maldarelli (Nassau).

Emmanuel Ajagbe (157),
Connor Gabriel (174) and
Zeke Pyle (285) each reached the finals and were the runners-up in their respective weight classes.
James DeLillo took third at 133 pounds while
David Davidson (125),
Donald Smith (157) and
Joseph Richard (184) each placed fourth.
