Delaware Valley University Athletics

The 2019-20 season will be the sixth for Fergusson as head coach of the Delaware Valley University cheerleading squad.

In Fergusson's first campaign, the team went to the Reach The Beach National Championships in Ocean City, Maryland and took top honors in the four-team, Collegiate - Small All-Girl Category. They also captured the Reach The Beach crown in 2017 and repeated as champions in 2018.  

Fergusson has been involved with cheerleading for more than a decade. She was a cheerleader at Division II Kutztown University from 2004 to 2008 and also coached at Brandywine Heights High School for two years during that time. That squad took first place at the Battle at the Capitol national competition for the first time.       

Fergusson was a co-cheerleading coach at Reading High School from 2009 to 2011. She currently co-owns a cheerleading choreography company and works various middle schools, high schools and all-star cheerleading teams in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.   

Fergusson graduated from Kutztown in 2008 with a bachelor of arts degree in English Literature with a minor in Spanish. She received her master’s in Secondary Education: Curriculum and Instruction from the institution in 2010.
