Jones was named the MVP of the Freedom Conference tournament as he averaged 27 points, six rebounds and four assists per game while leading the Aggies to their first-ever conference championship and NCAA berth. He scored 32 points, including 26 in the second half, in the 79-58 title win over DeSales.
