Pitts captured first-place honors in the 100-meter dash at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. He crossed the finish line in 11.14 seconds, just .01 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Pitts also helped the 4X100 relay team place third, and he took eighth in the 200-meter dash.
