He opened with a win over the ranked wrestler, Lance Moore, to put hte Aggies in a tie with fifth-ranked Cortland (they lost on criteria). Less than 24 hours later, he earned a win over a wrestler from No. 12 Ithaca to tie that contest up as well (they won on criteria).
