Rubino finished 4-0 at the Waynesburg Invitational en route to capturing the 141 pound championship. The junior started off the day by picking up falls in each of the first two rounds at 55 seconds and at 2:59. In the semifinals, Rubino cruised to a 9-0 major decision before dominating in the championship match with a 13-4 major decision. 

It was the first career title for Rubino who helped the Aggies claim their first team title since 2017. Next up is the MAC Championships Saturday, January 15th.
