Weisgerber secured himself a spot at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championships in both the men's shot put and weight throw with his performance on Saturday at the Penn State Tune-Ups, the final meet before the MAC championships next weekend. In the shot put he reached 12.74-meters and in the weight throw he earned a mark of 11.15-meters, both were personal records for the sophomore. Weisgerber and the rest of the Aggies will test there skills against the rest of the conference over a two-day event at Lehigh University on Friday and Saturday.
