Masterson set a school record and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the javelin as he had a toss of 215 feet, 9 inches at the Lions Invitational at The College of New Jersey. He also placed in the top 20 in four other individual events and helped the 4X100 relay team finish fourth.
