About Women's Cross Country

The Aggies were Middle Atlantic Conference co-champions in their first varsity year (1980) - the only women's team in school history to capture a conference title. DelVal has hosted the MAC Championships three times in the last decade, including 2017. The program also hosts a pair of invitationals each year during the regular season.

The greatest runner in program history was 2011 graduate Caitlin Dorgan. A four-time all-conference honoree, Dorgan became the first Delaware Valley women's cross country runner to win the MAC Championship. She did so in 2010 (runner-up in 2009) on her home course to cap a run of seven straight invitational titles that season and was named the MAC Runner of the Year for her efforts. . After taking second in a photo finish at the regional championships, Dorgan made a second straight trip to the NCAA Division III Championships. There, she placed 28th and earned All-America honors - the first in program history.
