About Women's Basketball

Head coach Laura Hogan has built the Aggies into a regional power during her 14-year tenure. The team has qualified for the Freedom Conference playoffs in eight of the last 12 seasons, including its first-ever run to the conference championship game in 2002.

Delaware Valley has also been selected to the ECAC Southern Regional Championships on four occasions under Hogan and captured the 2001 title to conclude a record-breaking 21-6 season.

Hogan was a Hall of Fame player for the Aggies and earned Most Valuable Player honors from the old MAC-Northeast section in both 1989 and 1990. She then coached a conference MVP in Alisa DiBonaventura who, in 2001, became the first Delaware Valley basketball player - male or female - to be named an All-American. Kim Vennera was named the Freedom Conference Most Valuable Player for the 2009-10 season as she led the team to both the Freedom and ECAC postseason.
